The Verband Deutscher Maschinen- und Anlagenbau e.V. (VDMA) is Europe’s biggest industry association, with around 3200 members. It represents the interests of the industrial goods sector, largely consisting of medium-sized companies, to institutions in politics and society, as well as economy, science, public authorities and the media. The VDMA also sees itself as a platform where its member companies can exchange ideas about technical challenges, interdisciplinary questions and many other subjects in numerous networks.
