We’re wishing BVS a happy birthday today!
33 years of company history –
and it's far from the end of the story.
Through Bätz Vermittlung und Service GmbH, Autohandel & Büroservice in Maintal-Dörnigheim to Hanau to BVS Industrie-Elektronik GmbH, the allrounder for CNC, PLC and ROBOT automation technology. From just three customers in the early years, like GE, Index and Chiron, there are now over 10,000 customers including both renowned major corporations and many medium-sized companies. And that’s not just in Germany, but around the globe.
It all started with four members of staff in a tiny office complex. Today, over 190 employees work for us on an operating area of more than 15,000m². The core business of today began with circuit board repairs for GE customers in Germany, with Siemens 611 drive systems and converters added in the 1990s. By now, we boast an impressive portfolio of over 250,000 products from many reputable manufacturers. Partnerships with Bosch Rexroth and SEW-EURODRIVE have been formed, a new business unit with the brand unipo® has been established and new services, such as Ecofit, have been introduced.

But in spite of the challenging times, we firmly believe we can do great things, even in 2020. As our motto “Quality makes the difference” implies, the high quality of the services we offer sets them apart. To make sure we’re still available to our customers as a strong and reliable service partner, we are extending our warranty period from the current 18 months to 24 months – and it applies to the entire module in the repair, exchange and replacement and new parts purchase (even as part of an ECOFIT project).
In keeping with the motto “one face to the customer”, we want to become an even stronger allrounder for our customers this year while establishing a new business unit. To start, we are expanding our repair and testing portfolio for frequency converters and compact converters, so that we will be able to offer products from even more popular manufacturers in this market, such as Danfoss, KEB and Allen-Bradley, in addition to our core brand portfolio.

Next, we’ll soon be launching our “BVS goes green” initiative. We are entering the business unit of photovoltaic inverters, starting out with our product overhaul repair service in addition to cleaning and inspection. Along with well-known photovoltaics manufacturers such as SMA, Sungrow and Solarmax, we will gradually be expanding our portfolio to include other providers in the future.
