Vocational training as an electronics engineer for automation technology

As a continuously expanding, family-run medium-sized enterprise, BVS Electronics GmbH has provided maintenance and servicing for CNC and PLC-controlled electronic modules and systems since 1987. We will provide the following training:

  • Learn and apply the principles of electric and automation technology as well as control and regulation technology

  • Assemble and disassemble modules

  • Measure, evaluate and calculate electric and physical variables

  • Install and configure operating systems and application programs

  • Set up and operate automated testing equipment

  • Observe process structures and interfaces and recognise interactions with automation systems

  • Maintain electric components and drives

  • Troubleshoot automated systems

  • Develop multidisciplinary potential solutions as part of a project team

Your qualifications:

  • General certificate of secondary education, vocational certificate or general qualification for university entrance

  • Sound knowledge of mathematics and physics

  • Analytical and abstract thought processes and technical understanding

  • Interest in modern electronic technology

  • Sense of responsibility, diligent and a team player

  • Good computer skills and knowledge of Office applications

  • Good knowledge of English

Structure of the training:

  • Final exam conducted by the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK)

  • Training period: 3.5 years, shorter training period if prerequisites are met

  • Vocational school: Sandwich course at business/technical schools in Hanau or Frankfurt, Germany
